Math, Science, & Electives

In addition to Humanities courses, Veritas Lake Martin offers quadrivium courses in math, science, and other electives.  These courses are under the guidance of experienced instructors and tutors, and provide an excellent complement to the humanities program ensuring the best opportunities for rounded liberal arts education.  These electives are available to all students at the published rate. 

Courses meet weekly at times and days different than Humanities courses.  Some math course offer a supplemental tutorial day. 


Courses for Grades K-4 include...

  • Math by Grade Level

  • Science by Grade Level

  • Electives- Fine Arts, Life Sports, etc.



Courses for Grades 5-8 include...

  • Math – 5th Grade Math, 6th Grade Math, 7th Grade Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I 

  • Science - Anatomy, Physical Science, Intro to Chemistry/Physics

  • Electives- Fine Arts, Life Sports, etc.



Courses and Electives (Grades 9-12) include…

  • Math – Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II or College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics

  • Science – Physical Science, Forensics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science

  • Electives- Fine Arts, Life Sports, Technology, Psychology, and many more

  • College, Career, Community and Servant Leadership (CCCASL)- High school guidance course required for Veritas graduation


We have several partnerships and offer various ways of obtaining early or dual enrollment college credit.

Electives vary year to year and are subject to change.
